Purpose and legal ground for processing
Swiipe is committed to ensuring that the technology we offer is secure for you to use and takes great care to protect your personal data. The technology’s goal is an easier and user- friendly method by having one login, which does not imply typing the data every time.
The purpose for processing your regular personal data is to make it easier for you to be informed about our news and services and to make sure we provide you, upon request, with the relevant information in a timely manner.
The legal ground for the processing operations, according to Article 6 (1) lit. a of the GDPR, is your consent given before your data undergo processing.
Your data are stored only for as long as you wish to be informed by us.
All your personal data will be treated as confidential information. Only authorized Swiipe staff will have access to your personal data and only for the purpose mentioned above.
As a data subject, you have the following rights:
Right to access and rectification
You have right to access your personal data that we collect and update it when inaccurate.
Right to erasure
You have the right to request Swiipe to erase your data when: they are no longer necessary in relation to the purpose mentioned above or when you withdraw your consent for processing.
Right to restriction
You have the right to obtain restriction of processing when:
- The processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of personal data
- Swiipe no longer needs your personal data for the purpose mentioned above, but you require the data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims
If restricted, personal data will be processed only with your consent (with the exception of storage). You will be informed before the restriction is lifted.
Right to data portability
As a data subject you have the right to receive your personal data which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and transmit those data to another controller. At your request, Swiipe shall transmit those data directly to another controller, where technically feasible.
Right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without providing justification and without suffering negative consequences.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the General Data Protection Regulation.
Swiipe’s data processing operations are compliant with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation.
